PFLOAG – Popular Front for the Liberation of the Occupied Arabian Gulf – succeded NDFLOAG and the Dhofar Liberation Front. It was formed in 1968 and was dissolved in 1974. In its turn it was succeded by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Oman and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Bahrein. In essence it was a Marxist Arab Nationalist revolutionary organisation whose activities peaked from 1970 to 1974
