The Tywnham hut on the left is divided in two. The first half is the admission room and the second half is the operating room. There is then a lobby which crosses over to the Rainford Ward. The rooms were air-condition which was a boon. Air-conditioning does however produce considerable amounts of water which has to disposed of in a manner that does not cause a nuisance. The concrete walkways are also a boon to those who are carrying stretchers. The tent on the right is the new X-ray tent.
