January 1974
Two UK based soldiers were injured as a result of a mine explosion. one received tarumatic amputation of leg and the other received severe injuries to an eye necessitating removal. Battle surgery for the month consisted of 17 primary and 12 secondary procedures. There were 2 B.I.Dead during the month
February 1974
No UK based soldiers were injured during the month of February. Battle surgery for the month consisted of 5 Primary and 5 Secondary procedures. There was one death (Pakistani) and two BIDs (Both Local) during the month.
March 1974
Battle surgery for the month consisted of 12 Primary and 4 Secondary procedures. There were no deaths and four BID (3 Local, 1UK) during the month.
April 1974
Battle surgery for the month consisted of 3 Primary and 4 Secondary procedures There was one death and three BID (1 UK 1 Local and L Iranian)
