“From what I can make out it looks like a Decca Airfield approach radar with an “orange peel” scanner. Looking at the picture I am assuming it is overseas somewhere possibly the Middle East but can’t work anything else out about it.

Often see similar radars mounted on towers but with a lattice scanner so they are less affected by winds.” –
